I-1.10—To
ensure that each child’s culture, language, ethnicity, and family structure are
recognized and valued in the program.
This is significant
to me because it is our duty to understand a child’s culture, language,
ethnicity, and family structure are all intertwine and it is what makes them who they are.
I-2.3—To
welcome all family members and encourage them to participate in the program.
When families are
involved in the child’s education it promotes positive outcomes and we as
educators should work collaboratively to ensure that parents have the necessary
skills and knowledge to support their children’s learning.
DEC
We shall recognize
our responsibility to improve the developmental outcomes of children and to
provide services
and supports in a fair and equitable manner to all families and children.
It is our duty to
learn, implement and adhere to as much knowledge about children and their
development to insure that all children are getting the proper skills needed to
be successful.
Hi Leslie,
ReplyDeleteI too believe that it is our duty to make sure every child is given the opportunity to quality education and to ensure that both children and families are supported in a fair and equitable manner.
